"Where the Tulips Gather"
This custom Arts and Craft–inspired stained glass vase was born from my admiration of the heritage homes in my city. When I’m out walking my dog, I often admire the craftsmanship of their stained glass windows. I wanted to create something that captured that same spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement—but a simple window just wasn’t going to cut it.

As I like to create 3 dimensional objects, I chose a vase as the canvas and designed it around a tulip motif reaching for the sun, framed by the strong vertical and horizontal lines that define the era. The piece stands 13.5 inches tall, measures 6 inches square at the belly, and is framed in African Mahogany. It contains 405 individual pieces of glass and took roughly 70 hours to complete.
