Coat Hangers from Recycled Fir Flooring

Using some old painted scrap Fir flooring kicking around in my Studio-B I built two hearing bone pattern coat hangers. Both measure 30" x 15" and are finished with Colonial Stain and 3 coats of clear stain Wipe-On Polyurethane finish. 

The second hanger was hand carved with Indian Rasps then treated with a steel wool vinegar stain to highlight the joins.
